Sylvester Stallone has denied the rape allegation filed against him in November, saying it never happened, but adds that he’s concerned about his family name.

In his recent interview with RadarOnline last Friday, the 71-year-old said he’s worried about the effect of this alleged sexual misconduct on his wife and children.

Stallone is married to Jennifer Flavin, who became his third wife in 1997. He is a father to five children, including Sage Stallone, the actor and film director who died of heart attack in 2012.

Stallone is facing charges for sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl while filming Over the Top in Las Vegas.

Media reports confirm the unnamed teenager included Stallone’s bodyguard, Michael De Luca, as part of the threesome. The incident took place in July 1986.

“It’s one thing to go after me. But they really attack the innocent — the people that are going along with their lives, their reputations are sullied by this,” Stallone said, making reference to his wife Jennifer Flavin and their daughters.

The couple share three girls: Sophia Rose (1996), Sistine Rose (1998), and Scarlet Rose (2002).

“They are carrying the burden of a lie for the rest of their lives. Cruel is cruel. You don’t have to make things up,” he added.

According to The Daily Mail, De Luca, who died in 2013, forced the teenager to perform oral sex on her, then penetrated her, and that Stallone “made her give him oral sex.”

Stallone threatened her afterward, the report says, adding that he and and De Luca threatened the raped teenager using their marriage as a reason she should keep the incident a secret or have them “beat her head in.”

A police report on the case also noted that the teen ultimately declined to seek charges against Stallone and De Luca because she felt “humiliated and ashamed” in addition to being “scared.”

“No one was ever aware of this story until it was published today, including Mr. Stallone,” the action star’s spokesperson Michelle Bega said in a statement provided to TheWrap.

“At no time was Mr. Stallone ever contacted by any authorities or anyone else regarding this matter.”

The famous actor who is popularly known as John Rambo has consulted his defense lawyers. His wife, Flavin, is a co-owner of Serious Skin Care, a company which sells beauty treatments and cosmetics via the Home Shopping Network.
