Aurora Snow’s Father reveals he’s proud of his beautiful daughter’s career as a Porn Actress

You definitely know about some celebrities who have featured in pornographic movies, and you probably know a few persons who wish they had a chance to make some “cool” cash doing what they love.

Denial is not a river in Egypt.

Jennifer Ketcham of Huffington Post wrote a piece on “Why Your Daughter Wants To Be A Porn Star,” but none of her reasons matter to this man who has seen sex and its benefits as a vibrant young man although he’s now an ageing father to a beautifully-made adult actress.

“If I could’ve made hundreds of thousands of dollars having sex I would’ve done it, too,” writes David Moyes of the the same news outlet.

The pretty adult movie star who goes by the name Aurora Snow, never had a chance to know what her father felt about the “appalling” profession until she achieved success.

However, with her “angelic” body back in one piece, she was excited to hear him say, “I was proud [of you and the godforsaken profession].”

Snow shone like a diamond in the sky during her peak period as a porn actress.

Her daring exploits around 2011-12, earned the damsel a place among the Adult Video News Hall of Fame earlier this year.

The highlight of her career came when she was announced the AVN Female Performer of the Year just a few days after her 21st birthday.

Writing in an article for Daily Beast, the 35-year-old American porn actress who has since retired from the trade, reveals the she had fun while it lasted.

In her words: “…Porn was more lucrative back then; the women didn’t have to worry about pushing merchandise because the companies they were signing for paid by the hour”

The actress-director admitted she wasn’t proud of her achievements in the adult movie industry.

She writes in an article: “Being recognized as the best in my field should have been exhilarating. And while up there on that stage, burning under those bright lights, I realized that while I was grateful for the honor, it wasn’t my crown jewel.

“Part of me loved winning. But another, deeper part of me didn’t feel anything at all,” she adds.

“What good was winning something I couldn’t share with anyone I really cared about? This was one award that would stay in the closet when family came to visit. It was a difficult accomplishment to brag about.”

Having acquired a wealth of experience in her profession, Snow regularly writes for the The Daily Beast, and has interviewed many people about the business.

Her latest article for the publication is about her father’s response after realizing not just how she made her wads of cash, but knowing she must have screamed down the heavens at some point or the other.

Was he angry with the sex-starved men and women who pounced on her like a pride of deserted lions?

What is a group of lions called?

She writes: After nearly an hour on the phone, just as we were about to hang up, I mustered up the courage to ask, “Dad, how did you feel when you heard I was Aurora Snow?”

Silence.

Then came an answer that blew me away: “I was proud.”

Enjoy an excerpt from one of Snows many interviews:

Aurora: Were you shocked? I wasn’t exactly the type to end up in porn.

Dad: Yeah, I was shocked but I was proud. My daughter is Aurora Snow … when my friends found out they said, “Oh my god, that’s your daughter?!”

Aurora: And how did you handle that?

Dad: When they’d say, “How do you feel about your daughter being a porn queen?” I’d ask them how much money they’ve made having sex. None. They’d have to pay for it. So I’m like, “OK, you’d pay for it and my daughter makes hundreds of thousands of dollars having sex, so c’mon, if you could do that wouldn’t you?” That shuts ‘em up.

Aurora: So it wasn’t weird for you?

Dad: Not at all. I’m very proud of you.

The beautiful actress also wrote a letter to her unborn child, trying hard enough to explain herself out of this widely misconstrued profession.

“…So remember when you’re making big choices in life, think far into the future and ask yourself, ‘can I live with that?'” Snow concludes her letter.
