Following last June’s incident of pistol whipping involving Rick Ross and his groundskeeper, Jonathan Zamudio, formal charges has been pressed against the famous rapper.

The charges handed down by the jury includes: aggravated assault, kidnapping, aggravated battery and possession of a firearm at the time of the crime.

Renzel (as the rapper is called) is claiming innocence and accusing his groundskeeper for hosting cocaine parties in his guest house.

In his anger, he allegedly ushered the Jonathan inside the guest house at gunpoint and pistol-whipped him with a 9mm glock.

Rick’s lawyer is ready for the legal battle claiming that Ross acted on legal grounds. In his claim, he agrees that Rick Ross pistol-whipped Jonathan but said that act was in defense of his life and property after encountering unknown persons dealing on drugs in his house.

The date for the trial is yet to be fixed.
