The European Parliament has given green light to COVID-19 travel certificates.

The result of the vote on the digital green certificate was published on Wednesday morning with a large majority of MEPs  voting for the measure.

The EU Digital COVID Certificate will function from July 1, and will ensure safe and coordinated travel this summer.
