Kanye West attracted wrath from music lovers during his Thursday concert after he expressed regret over casting his vote for Hillary Clinton instead of Donald Trump. Though the rapper claimed he didn’t vote on 8 November, a stance to keep him away from the polarized fanatics, but he was however booed by concertgoers for what they saw as betrayal from a role model.

During the show in San Jose, California, Kanye said: “I told you all I didn’t vote right? … But if I were to have voted, I would have voted for Trump.
“This is about the idea of a black guy liking Trump. They thought they had me because … just because I was black or just because I was a celebrity,” he added.
He continued in his speech: “But Trump is our president. And that would’ve been my vote, so I feel right.”
Kanye’s latest election rant which has been described by PEOPLE magazine as “strictly and egalitarian message,” didn’t “fly with” his numerous fans.
It’ll be remembered that the rapper said he will run for president in 2020, and many had assumed he would do so as a Democratic – if he was really serious about it.

Seems the 39-year-old is playing mind games with people here. Pictures surfaced online sometime last year after he met with the Democratic flag bearer Hillary Clinton. He went further with a post from Kim Kardashian West’s social media account.
During President Barack Obama’s campaign in 2012, Kanye donated the sum of $1,000, and later topped it with a $15,000 donation to the Democratic National Committee before the last midterm elections, the report quotes New York magazine.
“[Voting for Trump] don’t mean that I don’t think that black lives matter, that don’t mean I don’t believe in women’s rights, that don’t mean that I don’t believe in gay marriage,” he continued in the controversial speech, pausing between songs to convince an apparently angry crowd that his earlier comments on voting for Trump didn’t mean a betrayal of trust.
Talking about racisim during the concert held at San Jose’s SAP Center, the father-of-two said: “Stop focusing on racism” because “we’re a racist f***ing country — period.”
He argues that racism can never leave America, saying, “not one or the other candidate was going to instantly be able to change that.”

With the scene highly tensed, some of the concertgoers who granted interviews to reporters, said most fans walked out of the show after Kanye stopped for about 15 minutes to air his political views.
