HYKE is owned by designers HIDEAKI YOSHIHARA and YUKIKO ODE.
The Japanese fashion designers first started in 1998 with VINTAGE & USED CLOTHES SHOP in Daikanyama Tokyo.
Hideaki was born in 1969 in Tokyo, Japan while Yukiko was born the same year in Gunma, Japan.
They presented their new collection at Runway show from Fall/Winter 2005 and continued until Spring/Summer 2009. In the same year, because of designer Yukiko Ode’s delivery, the partners decided to take a leave from current work and concentrate on raising their child.
After about 3 years of break, they resumed with a launch of their new brand “HYKE” from Fall/Winter 2013 collection.
In June 2014, published the collaboration line “MACKINTOSH×HYKE” with MACKINTOSH, which was showcased worldwide for 5 seasons starting from 2014FW.
In July 2014, they rolled out a fashion line tagged “adidas Originals by HYKE” with adidas Originals. It was released worldwide for 4 seasons starting from 2015SS.
