Are you afraid of moving abroad?

Are you a Rational or an Emotional human being?

If you are Rational, then you: analyze, plan, outline, weigh in and weigh out all outcomes, are careful and calculated.

If you are Emotional: you are a light decision maker, fun, live in the spur of the moment, whatever happens is ok with you, adventurous, not afraid of taking risks, mostly positive.

Making a decision about moving to America can be very emotional and this is totally OK.

It is a huge change in your life, in the lives of your family members; your partner, your children. It is difficult.

Will it all be worth it? Maybe or maybe not. But, if you don’t try, you will never know. That’s why it is being said that there is no such thing as a “BAD” decision. There is a decision that will have some kind of outcome and impact on your life & it is for you to decide whether it is good or bad and what kind of implications it carries. After all, in every bad there is always something good to be taken out.

I completely believe in that.

If you ask me, I am somewhere in between being a little emotional & a little rational.

What do I think about leaving my home country & immigrating to another one? Well, it is crazy – but if I had such an opportunity, I would take it! Life is short and I don’t want to have regrets.

  1. I’m 75% emotional… I’m that kind of person that even with a contract in a secure job I left for volunteering experiences abroad 🙂 have a great day and greetings from Lisbon, PedroL
