Reince Priebus, a former White House Chief of Staff to the US President Donald Trump, has revealed reasons for his ouster.
Priebus insists that he tendered a resignation letter, and was never sacked by the president as reported by the media. He served between 20 January to 28 July, 2017.
The 45-year-old native of Dover, New Jersey, said Mr. President wanted to go in a different direction. However, he reiterated his loyalty to the billionaire business mogul who’s now in charge of America’s business.
“I support him in that … the president has the right to change directions,” Priebus said.

Preibus also admitted on Friday that Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly was the best pick for his former position among Trump’s team.
“It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this President and our country,” Priebus said in an emotional statement.
“I want to thank the President for giving me this very special opportunity. I will continue to serve as a strong supporter of the President’s agenda and policies.
“I can’t think of a better person than General John Kelly to succeed me and I wish him God’s blessings and great success,” he added.
Priebus, an American lawyer and politician, previously held positions as the chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC), RNC general counsel and chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin.
Speaking with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Friday, Priebus said: “This is not a situation with a bunch of ill will feelings. I’m always gonna be a Trump fan. I’m on Team Trump.”

Although White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci is yet to make comments of Priebus, he did say that the ex-official was responsible for leaking some confidential documents.
“Reince is a f**king paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,” he said during a New York interview.
“‘Oh, Bill Shine is coming in. Let me leak the f*cking thing and see if I can c**k-block these people the way I c**k-blocked Scaramucci for six months.'”
In 1998, Priebus graduated with a J.D. degree cum laude from the University of Miami, where he was elected students’ union president of the law school.
His classmates called his a “voice of reason” for Trump White House.
After he was called to the bar, Priebus joined Wisconsin law firm Michael Best & Friedrich LLP. He later became a partner at the firm in 2006.
Priebus got married to his wife and mother of their 2 children, Sally, in 1999. The couple met in high school and went to prom together; they currently live in Kenosha.
Mr. Trump called Priebus a “good man,” but said Kelly is a “star”.
