Losing to Manchester City was understandable, failing at Feyenoord was not too bad, but this loss to Watford could be the last straw that broke the camel’s back unless positive results start coming now.

United lost 3-1 thanks to two late goals which came as a result of hard work, resistance and persistence from Watford players.

Marcus Rashford joined the scoresheet as expected of the talented youngster who’s constantly proving why he should be on the first time.

However, football critics still think Mourinho is yet to find a perfect combination for Paul Pogba, Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and others. This could be where United’s problem rests.

In a post-match interview, the Portuguese tactician said: “I was completely aware this is not a perfect team, that lots of players are not end products, and they can make their own mistakes.

“My only doubt was the way they can cope with negative moments, because the negative moments will be always arriving sooner or later.

“I feel some individuals feel too much pressure and responsibility, but by the collective point of view I only have good things to say about them.”
