Jake Gyllenhaal has proved his worth as a man by standing up for his emotions. He recently admitted he’s has been mashing on co-star Jennifer Aniston for many years now.
Both starred in a movie The Good Girl way back in 2002. During the making of the movie, Jake carefully hid his emotions and kept it buried all these years. At that time he was aged 22, maybe he felt it wasn’t right yet to open up to Jennifer who has become one of the biggest stars in Hollywood.
Jake admitted this about appearing on set with her: “I was – um, yeah. That’s all I’m going to say. It was lovely. It wasn’t hard, that’s what I would say.”
He confessed to PEOPLE: “I will say, I had a crush on her for years. And working with her was not easy.”
Jake was honest when asked to describe the beautiful actress, he said: “She’s a rough one. Not likeable. So hard to compliment.”
The 35-year-old Jake added that he was attracted to her after seeing “who she is” on screen.
“Not so much Friends, but kind of her personality from afar, and movies she was in,” he explained.
“And some of Friends – I’m not a huge Friends fan – but who she is.”
