Failed Coup In Turkey Could Be Internally Staged, Austrian MP Says.

In the aftermath of Friday’s botched coup in Turkey, coupled with mass arrests and detention of thousands who are alleged to have taken sides against the government, there are wide speculations that something isn’t just right with the timing and execution of the said government take-over by the military–could it be an internally staged coup aimed against the good guys?

Stefan Schennach [a lawmaker with the Social Democratic Party of Austria] told Sputnik on Sunday that “an attempt of a military coup in Turkey was too amateur and looks more like an internal staging instead of a real effort to take over the power”.

Late on Friday, Turkish authorities said that an attempted coup took place in the country. The coup was suppressed several hours later.

Over 260 people were killed and hundreds were injured during the events, while nearly 3,000 people have already been detained.

“There is a little bit of bad taste in this story. Because why was everything prepared, the list of judges, the list of those people who are now arrested and not only from the military. So the bad taste is that staging [the coup] plays into the hands of [Turkish President Recep Tayyip] Erdogan to change the state more and more. This coup was a very dilettante coup,” Schennach said.

“Also, it was the parliament and not the palace of Mr. Erdogan that was destroyed most. But when you want a coup, you do it differently,” he added.

According to media reports, a total of 6,000 has so far been detained as confirmed by the justice minister who said today Sunday 17, that “6,000 people had been detained in the investigation, including three of the country’s top generals and hundreds of soldiers”.

In addition to those mentioned by Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag, dozens of arrest warrants have been issued for judges and prosecutors deemed to be government opponents, AP reported.

Stefan stressed that it was unacceptable to have a coup if the government had been elected democratically, adding that we have to see whether it was really a coup or an internal staging of an overthrow.

“It is too early to say, but we are very very worried about this situation,” the lawmaker said, noting that “the democratic institutions and norms in Turkey have suffered a lot”.

Reports say Gen. Akın Öztürk, a former commander of the Turkish Air Force has been named as one of the coup planners in Turkey’s attempted military coup d’état which saw dozens killed, and tens maimed.

The high-ranking commander shall stand trial for treason together with all others alleged to have played a role in the bloody military take over which disappointingly, failed. Öztürk served more than 40 years and was a decorated combat pilot and member of the Supreme Military Council.

The Turkish media have indicated two of them as having orchestrated the attempt against President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan‘s regime: Lt. Gen. Metin İyidil, commander of combat and support training in the land forces, and Gen. Akın Öztürk, the former commander of the Turkish Air Force (TuAF) and Turkey’s military attaché to Israel from 1996 to 1998.

By staging, you see who are against you and can arrest your opponents. But Erdogan is also an admirer of Hitler tricks.
My goodness. No wonder usa has so many stages on their fronts on terror.
Tick, tock, tick, tock waiting….for all the HOIZs Haters OF Israel and Zionism, Neo-Nazi and conspiracy asshats to crawl out of their borroughs to accuse the “Mossad” and Israel of orchestrating the whole affair.
IWe can all sit back now as the coup has failed as Turkey turns even more towards radical Islam and becomes Ergoden’s dreamed of Caliphate.
They are the same guys who brought down president Morsy of Egypt but this time they failed and fell on their nose. The smell of this Turkish problem comes out very soon.
Harold Neale Morsi was “brought down” by the sane secular class of people in Egypt. The people in the Egyptian society have been battling the extremist Islam influence inbodied in the Moslem Brotherhood since the 1880 in British Controlled Egypt.
The lower classes in Egypt are the ones manipulated by the Iman’s in the Mosques and Madrashes to embrace fundemental Islam and Sharia law. Just like in all the Arab countries of the Middle East where the Elite upper classes control all the wealth while the lower classes wallow in filth.

These are the same individuals of the Sunni faith that believe in the Wahabist beliefs found in Daesh. Hamas is an off shoot of the Moslem Brotherhood and reccently they are finding it problematic that many fighters are defecting to Daesh in Sinai. Since the days that the US opened the “Pandora Box” of extremist Whabbist Islam that resided in Madrashes in Pakistan to fight the Russians in Afghanistan in the 1980’s.
