Chinese Man Paid A Hitman Around $11,000 To Be Murdered…

Depression is one of the many causes of suicide here in China and in every other country.

A media report confirmed that a young Chinese who had an auto crash many years ago and as a result was confined in a wheelchair has been feeling depressed with his condition.

He felt so disappointed with his life and decided to end it by hiring an assassin to murder him.

He paid a total of 70,000 yuan (about $11,000) to the person who accepted to do the bloody job.

Then he was forced to change his mind after the assassin stabbed him more than a dozen times, mainland media reports.

The unnamed victim from Zhengzhou in Henan province, cried out for help after he was attacked with a fruit knife and his assailant fled the scene, the Zhengzhou Evening News reported.

He became unconscious after being stabbed many times in the stomach and has remained in hospital since the incident. His condition has also become worse than it was prior to the murder agreement.

Zhengzhou police, who revealed details of the case on Tuesday, said they had since arrested and charged the man hired to carry out the attack with attempted murder.

The suspect and victim, who are both in their 20s, first made contact using an internet chatroom, the report said.

Police checked the footage of more than 180 surveillance cameras in and around the area and identified a suspect in the case. He was arrested a month later in Lianyungang in Jiangsu province.
