- US fighter jet downed in Iran: A two-seater F-15 plane has gone down over Iran. One of its pilots has been rescued, according to an American official, but another airman is still missing.
- Race to find missing pilot: The search for the missing weapons system officer who was aboard the F-15 continues. Reports indicate that Iran is offering a $60,000 reward for his capture.

- Border crossing closed: Iraq has closed a border crossing with Iran after airstrikes killed an Iraqi citizen on the Iranian side.
