• US fighter jet downed in Iran: A two-seater F-15 plane has gone down over Iran. One of its pilots has been rescued, according to an American official, but another airman is still missing.
• Race to find missing pilot: The search for the missing weapons system officer who was aboard the F-15 continues. Reports indicate that Iran is offering a $60,000 reward for his capture.
• Trump issues latest threat: The US president said “time is running out” for negotiations with Tehran, claiming Iran has “48 hours before all hell” will rain down on Iran.
• Border crossing closed: Iraq has closed a border crossing with Iran after airstrikes killed an Iraqi citizen on the Iranian side.
• Industrial targets attacked: Iran says the area around the Bushehr nuclear power plant has been attacked, with one person killed. Some 200 people have reportedly been evacuated. Iran’s petrochemical companies have also been hit.
