I will be starting as an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Toronto Engineering (2025 January).
My research program will integrate fundamental electrochemistry, surface science, and functional material-interface design toward developing next-generation technologies of chemical and energy conversion, which will be part of the portfolio of Acceleration Consortium.
Our future directions are:1. Interphase Optimization of Next-generation Battery Materials2. Electrocatalytic Molecular Manufacturing for Circular Economy3. Solar-driven Chemical Reforming for Environmental Sustainability4. High-throughput and Autonomous Experimentation Accelerated by Artificial Intelligence. (AI.).
Multiple PhD and Postdoc openings are available for interested candidates with backgrounds in Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical, and Environmental Engineering etc.
