A comma can make all the difference

  1. RELEASE, NOT TO BE EXECUTED!
  2. RELEASE NOT, TO BE EXECUTED!

As you can see, the first sentence frees the convict, but the second condemns him to execution.

Yet the only difference in the statements is the placement of comma.

Imagine a judge sending the second with the intention of the first through 😳.

*Punctuations in sentences can make the difference between life & death.

Hence we need to carefully proof-read/edit what we write.

Don’t rush and hit the send button, spare a few seconds to go through what you have typed.

Is it well constructed and does it conform to the class you occupy as the composer/sender?

Will it pass the intended message?

Does it make sense?

Let’s develop this habit of being diligent! It will save us a lot of embarrassment, especially with these modern phones that try to spell everything for us🤥
