These Met Office images show the weather warnings in force across the country today.
Most of these are now active, meaning disruption is likely.

The northern amber warning started at 9pm on Saturday.
And hazardous conditions are set to continue throughout tomorrow, with even more warnings set.

In the areas covered by amber warnings, it is likely that vehicles may become stranded on icy roads – as has happened in the Lake District already (see our last post) – and power cuts are also likely.
There is also a “good chance” that rural communities could be cut off, with up to 30cm of snowfall expected in some areas.
Power cut and possible flight delays in Bristol
People in an area of Bristol are currently experiencing a power cut, the National Grid has said.
The problems are affecting those in the BS40 postcode and some surrounding areas.
“We are working on the issue and we estimate to have the power restored by 8.30pm,” the network said in a post shared on X.
Earlier in the day, they shared a checklist advising people how to prepare, and what to do in the event of a power cut.
The Met Office has warned cuts are likely due to the cold weather.
Meanwhile, Bristol Airport has said that snowfall “may result in some delays to flights”.
Customers are advised to contact airlines for flight information.
Flood alerts in place across England
As well as the Met Office’s warnings, the Environment Agency has also issued several flood alerts.
The latest update shows there are currently 38 alerts in place across England, including several along the South Coast, the North Sea Coast at Bridlington, and the River Severn through Gloucestershire, Shropshire and Worcestershire.
Alerts mean flooding is possible, but are less severe than flood warnings.
