The 44-year-old actress recounted a recent day out where she forgot to put on fragrance and admitted she felt uncomfortable without it.
She told Refinery29: “I said to my boyfriend, ‘Oh my god, I forgot to put on my perfume, and I feel naked. Also, I’ve been doing all this press and I haven’t been including perfume as part of my beauty regimen. Because I don’t think of it as ‘beauty’ – it transcends that. It’s just part of life.”
Chloe has collaborated with Régime des Fleurs to create her own perfume, Little Flower, and says she was heavily involved in the design process.
She explained: “I was very involved in the process. I believe in them and their vision so much, and I fell in love with Régime and all their scents. They said, ‘What do you think about doing a perfume?’ It was a no-brainer.”
Meanwhile, Chloe recently revealed she often goes on shopping “hiatuses” and won’t purchase any new garments for “three months” as she challenges herself to not purchase any new pieces of clothing to help her rediscover how to be comfortable with what she already has in her wardrobe.
She said: “[I have a shopping] addiction. It helps fill a void. I’m trying to figure out what that void is on a higher plane. How does one feed that desire for something new to make them feel better, or sexier?
“I’ll often go on hiatuses where I have to stop, where I have to stop, where I have to say to myself that I’m not going to buy anything for three months. I’ve gone for six months, even a year, without purchasing things, which helps you rediscover how to be comfortable with what you already have.”
Guess the rumors were true after all, that Cecilia Cheung, the Hong Kong-Australian actress and canto-pop singer who attained fame by starring alongside Stephen Chow, isn’t a one-man lady.
In China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, every artiste worth his or her salt has a studio these days and Cecilia is no exception, having struggled to survive after her parents separated when she was only 9.
On Saturday, a Weibo post confirmed that the 38-year-old actress gave birth to her third son in November and that both mother and son are doing well.
“Her children and her family have always been the most important people Cecilia takes care of. In the coming days, she will do her best to enhance the quality of life for her three kids. At the same time, she will also strive towards creating her best work. ‘Little Prince’ is now a month old and is grateful to everyone for their blessings,” said the statement.

Cecilia, a mother-of-three, also posted a video where she thanked everyone for their concern.
“Today my ‘Little Prince’ turns one-month-old. And I thank everyone for their blessings and support, I’m very grateful to everyone and I’m very thankful. The heavens have treated me very well and I really thank my group of really good friends! Thank you!”
The Sing Girl star then posted the drawing above which was printed on the baby’s one-month celebration gift for her friends and family. In the drawing is Ceci cradling her youngest son with her elder two boys Lucas, 11, and Quintus, eight, by her side. She also added a short caption: “My Love” followed by a heart emoji.
It’s a really sweet drawing but it doesn’t the question everyone has on their mind: Who’s the father?

The 36-year-old pop star who has kids River (4) and Remington (2) with her husband, Brandon Blackstock, has admitted to hating exercise and revealed she much prefers spending her spare time enjoying a glass or two of red wine.
Kelly tweeted: “This just in…. I still hate working out. I’m sweaty, red, and not any thinner [laughing emoji] people say it’s good for your heart…. but people also say red wine is good for your heart. I mean, I’m just stating facts here people. Who am I to ignore science?! #cardioversuswine (sic)”
Kelly’s weight has been a source of interest for years, and the chart-topping star previously admitted she can remember it being an issue as far back as 2002.
The singer who won the inaugural season of ‘American Idol’ said: “I was the biggest girl in the show, too. And I wasn’t big, but people would call me big. Because I was the biggest one on ‘Idol’, I’ve kind of always gotten that.”
Despite this, the “Because of You” hitmaker revealed she’s more worried about how her fans react to the negative comments than how it could damage her own self-esteem.
She shared: “I think what hurts my feelings for people is that I’ll have a meet and greet after the show and a girl who’s like bigger than me will be in the meet and greet and be like, ‘Wow, if they think you’re big I must be so fat to them.’
“And it’s like, ‘You’re just who you are.’ We are who we are – whatever size. And it doesn’t mean that we’re gonna be that forever.”
Fan Bingbing, China’s most popular actress who disappeared into thin air since June and resurfaced this October, was wanted for tax evasion amounting to $97m, the Chinese tax authorities said.
Her mystery disappearance from Hollywood and unexpected emergence into global spotlight is believed to be an act propelled by the long arms of Xi Jinping’s government which spares no indicted citizen notwithstanding their social class.
In a remorseful behavior similar to that seen from Chinese citizens whose acts were contrary to stipulations from the ruling Communist Party, Bingbing published a self-negating statement on social media. The widely-acclaimed most beautiful Chinese actress confirmed her alleged tax evasion crimes but will not be prosecuted for some reasons.
Tax authorities said her freedom is guaranteed, and assured she will avoid criminal investigation and possible incarceration, only if she pays up every “stolen dime”.
‘I’ve experienced pain and torment like I’ve never felt before,’the “Buddha Mountain” star wrote in her first social media post since disappearing in June.
‘Without the Party and country’s excellent policies, without the love of the general public, there is no Fan Bingbing,’ she added in her tribute to the leading Communist Party.

The 37-year-old was released from residential surveillance at an undisclosed location, PEOPLEreported.
According to the South China Morning Post, Bingbing was released from “secret detention” about two weeks ago before she traveled to her home in Beijing. The news outlet also noted that she was held at a “holiday resort” where most indicted citizens are allegedly interrogated.
State news agency, Xinhua, reported that Bingbing will avoid criminal investigation because the tax evasion case is her first-time offence, adding that she would be forgiven if the owed amount is paid in full and within a given period. Her case would be transferred by the tax office to the police if she defaults in paying all debts as instructed.
Ronke Oshodi, a household name in Nigeria’s movie industry, has made it clear that she holds no respect for men who aren’t financially independent.
In her latest interview with Broadway TV, the chubby Nollywood actress bluntly said she won’t be submissive to any man, if she cooks as a the culture demands from women and still has to pay the bills.
Image: Ronke Oshodi
Also known as Ronke Ojo-Gbolahan and popularly addressed as Oshodi-Oke, the Lagos-born actress says no marriage survives for a long time if financial challenges are handled by one partner.
In her opinion, no man [Nigerian] should expect women to cook if she takes over affairs in the family as a breadwinner.
“What is your take on the large number of celebrity marriages falling out?” the reporter asked in the video.
“It is not just the industry. That is what is trending all over the world,” Ronke replied. “You that is talking to me now, you are not a celebrity and you are not near to what we are doing at all. Are you telling me that all your families, everybody is okay? That is what is trending, that is it.
“Do you know why it is like that? It is because we have been exposed and everybody wants to work and earn money. Before in 30, 40 years it was our fathers that were earning money. Ladies don’t go to universities, not that they don’t go at all please don’t get me wrong but they don’t really go to universities.
“So my dad will say he cannot marry a graduate, in fact my father use to tell me that he cannot marry a nurse, do you understand? But now I will bring 50, you will bring 50 or I will bring 70, you will bring 30 or you will bring 70 and I 30, because we have to work hand in hand. So how do you think we can sustain, do you understand? It’s not ganna work,” she added.
“It is not because we don’t want to be in our husbands’ house or that we are not submissive enough to them, but it’s not ganna work. Am ganna pay the NEPA bill, I will pay school fess if you don’t have and you now come and expect me to cook for you, it’s not ganna work.
“That’s just it, it’s not ganna work because you want us to work hand in hand but if you are a man and you are doing everything absolutely everything, then I will ask you, you want me to give you money for food I gave you, you want me to give you schools fees I gave you and I gave you everything, what else do you want?
“That is when you can have total control on your wife, that’s just the truth of the matter. But if you do 60 and I 30, it’s not ganna work and so it is not because it is in the industry. Even if we are not in the industry, whatever that is ganna happen to anybody will surely happen. “But there are some rude ladies out there, am very sorry to say it, even if they have five Naira they will make their husband believe that they have twenty kobo. But when that five Naira stops they will …. do you understand eeh! But bring this bring that, it’s not ganna work,” she stressed.
Ronke, 43, has since posted several videos on social media in defense of her controversial statements, saying she’s now scared of granting interviews because her statements have been misquoted and misinterpreted in the media.
“That’s not exactly her kole work explanation. She’s saying a woman can’t marry or cook for a man who’s not providing for the family,” write an Instagram user @armynorth16. “So because the man is jobless and can’t provide for the family should now be an house boy. Is that what you saying?
“My advise for you is. If you are married or intend to marry never for one day look down on your husband no matter his situation or if you happen to be the bread winner. He’s your husband you must give him that respect. Don’t forget also that NO CONDITION IS PERMANENT!!”
The fair-skinned lady said she blames financial insecurity as the cause of most celebrity breakups, a contrast to the alleged infidelity, drugs, lesbianism and greed which aren’t strange practices in the industry. She implored every critic to watch her video before passing judgement.
Nonetheless, the Yoruba actress says her comments aren’t exclusive to Nollywood, but regrets that Broadway TV had edited her everything she said during the interview.

“My sister. I have watched it over and over again. She’s totally wrong with her answer,”another netizen wrote after watching the online video. “She’s just crying for nothing. She even ask the interviewer and says it’s not just celebrities alone but ever marriage out there. I know lots of women will support her. But she got it all wrong.”
The interview wasn’t Ronke’s first on marriage, love and family matters. She recently celebrated her 8-year wedding anniversary, and seems crazy in love. However, the thespian holds nothing but regrets for the “twisted” comments.
“Crying cannot solve this problem, u know your heart and we your fans know you very well….people who try to bring you down will sink into the lagoon🙏🙏🙏,”@black_de_ice advised on Instagram.
Ronke is from Ondo state, Nigeria. She launched her music career in 2014 although her album is yet to be released till date.
In 2015, the actress released a single titled Ori Mi which featured famous rapper 9ice.
One regret she holds in life is being unable to get a university degree.
Now a film producer and writer, Ronke told Encomium magazine in an interview that she must return to school notwithstanding her age or other setbacks which make it seem impossible.
“My big regret is not going back to school as I had wanted to. I have been planning to return back to school for quite a long time but when you are making money, seeing yourself being celebrated here and there, you will feel on top of the world,” she said at that time. “But you are nothing without completing your education. So that’s the bold step I want to take now. So it’s going to be fun. I don’t want to agree it’s going to be difficult. I really want to go back to school and I mean it this time around.”
Charlize Theron, the South African/American actress who’s best known for her role in The Devil’s Advocate, has revealed that she finds it easier to act sex scenes with women.
The 41-year-old played roles in Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), The Fate of the Furious (2017), A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014), and more.
Theron, a multiple awards winner, has an upcoming movie titled Atomic Blonde, where she unreservedly got down to it with fellow actress Sofia Boutella.
The actresses performed some jaw-dropping sex scenes with Sofia in the Cold War-era action thriller about a female English spy who was sent to Berlin in 1989 to expose a deadly espionage ring.
She needed help and more than that from her French contact in order to achieve her set goals.

Theron’s explicit love scene is a direct contrast to her previous role as Aileen Wuornos, a lesbian killer in Monster, but she says doing something unusual makes her feel good.
Speaking in an interview with Extra, Theron said: “…With Sofia, it was easy just because we’re both dancers and you have to choreograph those scenes quite a bit. Otherwise they just become silly.”
She continued: “There is a technical aspect to it, so with her it was really easy because she thinks like me because we’re dancers.
“We shot that scene in, like, 45 minutes and with the guys, they’re not dancers, so, it takes a bit more work.”
Theron is a staunch supporter of same-sex marriage. She attended a solidarity march and rally in Fresno, California to prove a point on 30 May 2009.
The mother-of-two said she will never tie the knots with any male until gay marriage is legalized in the United States.
She was in a relationship with Stuart Townsend, an English professional golfer and actor, between 2001 – 2010; and has two adopted children.
“I don’t want to get married because right now the institution of marriage feels very one-sided, and I want to live in a country where we all have equal rights,”she said in a 2011 interview with Film Journal International.
“I think it would be exactly the same if we were married, but for me to go through that kind of ceremony, because I have so many friends who are gays and lesbians who would so badly want to get married, that I wouldn’t be able to sleep with myself.”
Theron later appeared on Piers Morgan Tonight, where she elaborated on her earlier statements.
“I do have a problem with the fact that our government hasn’t stepped up enough to make this federal, to make [gay marriage] legal. I think everybody has that right.”
The popular actress continued in her interview with Extra, “I enjoy both [sexes]!
“Doing a love scene with guys is different, but I enjoy both,” she added.
“One of the interesting things about me and Tupac which I never told anyone is that when I first met him — when we first met, I was a drug dealer,” said the Gotham star whose appearance on Sirius XM was to promote her new movie “Girls Trip.”
She continued: “I won’t give details of the connection we had ’cause I’ll put it down in a book. A tip of the iceberg is — that’s how we started.”
Pinkett met the California Love rapper on their first day of high school at the Baltimore School for the Arts.
Although both artists shot to limelight in the 90s, she regrets that they were misunderstood as a “pretty young girl” and a “cool guy” who had mutual love and respect for each other. The link they shared was solely about “calming each other’s nerves,” she explained.
“Pac and I’s relationship was about survival,”she said. “That’s how it started. I know that most people want to always connect it in this romance thing and that’s just because they don’t have the story.
“It was about survival and it’s always been about survival between us, you know what I’m saying? And holding each other down in ways that he and I could hold each other down.”
Going further in her revelations, the mother-of-two said it was heartbreaking that they went separate ways along the line because she was getting help on her addiction, while ‘Pac was going into the destructive life.
She also pointed out that her inspiration to quit drugs came after a terrible incident occurred in her life.
“It was God who saved me from going into crimes. I waited and prayed my friend would get the same salvation, but he never did,” Pinkett said.
Her newest flick “Girls Trip” costars Regina Hall and Queen Latifah.
Pinkett is a dancer, singer and author. She shares two kids — Jaden and Willow — with husband Will Smith. Her other name is Jada Koren.
She’s known for her roles in The Matrix Reloaded, Madagascar, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Europe’s Most Wanted and The Matrix Revolutions, among many other movies in different genres.
The Bad Moms actress met her husband in 1994 on the set of a blockbuster The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. She auditioned for Lisa Wilkes, a character for the actor’s girlfriend, but was rejected for being too short. The role was offered to Nia Long.
Despite the initial disappointment, both Smith and Pinkett struck up an acquaintance. They started dating in 1995 and tied the knots in 1997.
Talking about her 2004 novel Girls Hold Up This World, the one-time author said: “The book was written for my daughter Willow, her friends and all the little girls in the world who need affirmation about being female in this pretty much masculine world.
“I really tried to capture different sides of femininity.
“I want girls in the world to feel powerful, to know they have the power to change the world in any way they wish.”
Kidman got married to famous Hollywood actor Tom Cruise in 1990, and the pair went separate ways in 2001. She later tied the knot with country music star Keith Urban in 2006.
The Goodwill Ambassador (UNICEF/1994) made her return to television in 2017, starring in HBO’s Big Little Lies, which features Witherspoon among other big names.
Naomi Watts, the British actress who co-starred with Kidman in Flirting (1991), also found time to celebrate with the Blossom Films owner.
She posted a cute picture on Instagram with the caption, “Happy Birthday to this beautiful woman. A remarkable human who gives so much love and spirit to all those around her. My friend, I am so happy to have shared incredible experiences with you over the last 3 decades. May there be many more to come... 🍾🎉🎈😍🎂💥👯💃🏻🌹.”
Twitter image shows Kidman and her Naomi Watts hugging each other. The post has earned over 37k likes and many birthday wishes for the beautiful actress.
Kidman became a brand Ambassador for Etihad Airways in 2015.
She has four children, 2 from her previous marriage with Cruise.
Her roles in “Lion,” “Rabbit Hole,” and “Moulin Rouge,” gained Oscar nominations.
“I’m absolutely embracing it,” Nicole said of her new age and the celebrations ahead. “I try to embrace all parts of my life now because I think you just go, ‘Wow. [I’m] so lucky, so blessed.'”
Nicole Kidman’s secret to a successful life and acting career looks quite simple but not exactly what you might be guessing.

The Australian-American movie star reveals it’s her “bold and open approach” to life.
Nicole, 49, says she loves taking life the same way she did 28 years ago when she started her acting career in Hollywood. Setting priorities means a lot to the “Eyes Wide Shut” actress but taking life “easy” is the idea.
The actress-singer was sighted at this year’s Cannes Film Festival where she spoke with reporters at a press conference.
Talking about her career, marriage and life challenges, she said: “I’m at that place in my life where I try to act as though I’m 21 and starting my career.
“At this stage in my life, I’m trying to stay bold and open and try things and support filmmakers that I believe in.”
The producer wedded famous actor Tom Cruise in 1990 although their marriage crashed in 2001. They share two kids Isabella, 24, and Connor, 22.
Although the multi-award winner has two kids, Sunday (8) and Faith (6), with her current hubby Keith Urban, she admits to rejecting career opportunities for her family.
“My time is precious,” said the actress who has been a UN Goodwill Ambassador since 2004. “I think once you reach a certain age the time becomes incredibly important – you’re like [gasp]. I’m raising a six and an eight year old who are in school so there’s only a certain amount of time I can work because of their school year.

“That means I pass on things a lot … because ultimately – and this is just me – my familylife is the most important thing to me so I’m not going to jeopardize that in any way shape or form.”
Talking about Urban, who she wedded in 2006, Nicole says she’s very lucky to have the country music icon in her life.
The Blossom Films owner explained: “Keith and I always say that we are just so lucky to have each other.

“In this world, to be able to come back to that love and that strength is so nourishing and powerful.
“And I am coming up an 11-year wedding anniversary, 12 years together, and that’s a big thing. And that is through absolute commitment and kindness, the desire to protect and help each other, what our relationship is.”
Jennifer Ketcham of Huffington Post wrote a piece on “Why Your Daughter Wants To Be A Porn Star,” but none of her reasons matter to this man who has seen sex and its benefits as a vibrant young man although he’s now an ageing father to a beautifully-made adult actress.
“If I could’ve made hundreds of thousands of dollars having sex I would’ve done it, too,” writes David Moyes of the the same news outlet.
The pretty adult movie star who goes by the name Aurora Snow, never had a chance to know what her father felt about the “appalling” profession until she achieved success.
However, with her “angelic” body back in one piece, she was excited to hear him say, “I was proud [of you and the godforsaken profession].”
Snow shone like a diamond in the sky during her peak period as a porn actress.
Her daring exploits around 2011-12, earned the damsel a place among the Adult Video News Hall of Fame earlier this year.
The highlight of her career came when she was announced the AVN Female Performer of the Year just a few days after her 21st birthday.
Writing in an article for Daily Beast, the 35-year-old American porn actress who has since retired from the trade, reveals the she had fun while it lasted.
In her words: “…Porn was more lucrative back then; the women didn’t have to worry about pushing merchandise because the companies they were signing for paid by the hour”
The actress-director admitted she wasn’t proud of her achievements in the adult movie industry.
She writes in an article: “Being recognized as the best in my field should have been exhilarating. And while up there on that stage, burning under those bright lights, I realized that while I was grateful for the honor, it wasn’t my crown jewel.
“Part of me lovedwinning. But another, deeper part of me didn’t feel anything at all,” she adds.
“What good was winning something I couldn’t share with anyone I really cared about? This was one award that would stay in the closet when family came to visit. It was a difficult accomplishment to brag about.”
Having acquired a wealth of experience in her profession, Snow regularly writes for the The Daily Beast, and has interviewed many people about the business.
Her latest article for the publication is about her father’s response after realizing not just how she made her wads of cash, but knowing she must have screamed down the heavens at some point or the other.
Was he angry with the sex-starved men and women who pounced on her like a pride of deserted lions?
She writes: “After nearly an hour on the phone, just as we were about to hang up, I mustered up the courage to ask, “Dad, how did you feel when you heard I was Aurora Snow?”
Then came an answer that blew me away: “I was proud.”
Enjoy an excerpt from one of Snows many interviews:
Aurora: Were you shocked? I wasn’t exactly the type to end up in porn.
Dad: Yeah, I was shocked but I was proud. My daughter is Aurora Snow … when my friends found out they said, “Oh my god, that’s your daughter?!”
Aurora: And how did you handle that?
Dad: When they’d say, “How do you feel about your daughter being a porn queen?” I’d ask them how much money they’ve made having sex. None. They’d have to pay for it. So I’m like, “OK, you’d pay for it and my daughter makes hundreds of thousands of dollars having sex, so c’mon, if you could do that wouldn’t you?” That shuts ‘em up.
Aurora: So it wasn’t weird for you?
Dad: Not at all. I’m very proud of you.
The beautiful actress also wrote a letter to her unborn child, trying hard enough to explain herself out of this widely misconstrued profession.
“…So remember when you’re making big choices in life, think far into the future and ask yourself, ‘can I live with that?'” Snow concludes her letter.
Eleanor Lee, daughter to the Singapore-based Taiwanese host and actress Qian Yu Fong, says she’s horrible at Maths and therefore can’t be sure of her gross earnings.
Born Eleano Yu (full names Eleanor Lee Kai Xin), the pretty singer is married to a Singaporean but resident in China. Her earnings skyrocketed in 2015 after she featured in Apple’s 90-second commercial Apple Girl.
Eleanor is considered one of China’s hottest celebrities at the moment. She’s believed to have earned a 6-figure paycheck from the tech giant in an acting career which so far blossomed into a money spinner for the little angel.
The 17-year-old has a fast-expanding resume, and there’s proof that her bank account is getting fatter by the day, too.
In 2015, she played a lead role in a popular fantasy drama series titled “Tribes and Empire.”
Apart from her role in Lay’s “commercial opposite,” as critics would prefer to call it, the pretty-faced actress also starred in “A Restaurant With Many Problems,” and still counting.
Although she’s currently busy with another movie series where she’s playing lead role as a student, Toggle.sg had a brief chat with her at this year’s Star Awards Ceremony.

She attended the ceremony as a special guest for her mom’s induction as a member of the All-Time Favorite Artistes.
At the event, Eleanor was asked about her earnings but she refused to give out the secret, citing “bad maths” as responsible for her inability to disclose the answer.
In her words: “My mum and godfather (Addy Lee) are the ones who are in talks with my agency, I really don’t know how much I’m earning.
Giggling as she spoke with the news outlet, she revealed that she’s still on allowance just like every other teenager in her age bracket.
“Previously, my allowance would come from my mum’s earnings, but now it comes from my earnings,” she chuckled.
“Since I’m earning some income, I think I should be financially independent.”
Describing her expenditure on the “allowance,” she said: “I mostly spend on living expenses like food and transportation fees.”
Eleanor has also collaborated with a Beijing-based artist for two pieces of artwork which sold at $13,500 each, so she’s also considered as an artist.
“I’m always painting and drawing at home, and my room is filled with so many art supplies that my mother is thinking of converting the guest room into a proper art studio for me,” she said of her second hobby during an interview at an exhibition.
“And now I’m so happy I got the chance to work with Wu Qiong on these pieces. I’m really happy about them.”
Elanor is a graduate from an international school in Singapore. Prior to becoming an actress, she modeled for Addyli Hair Care Product.
In her recent chat with Schick, a fashion magazine publisher, Rita revealed she could have been married a long time ago. In order words, there are interested suitors plotting to win this angel’s heart, but they’re yet to break through her barriers.
The popular actress, known for her role as Desiree in Nollywood’s blockbuster “Where Money Never Sleep,” said she’s waiting on God to lead to way.
“I believe that God is in charge of my life and will present the right man to me at the right time,” the actress-producer told Schick.
Rita admitted to facing some challenges that come with her status as a single celeb.
However, she advised that such social pressures should not influence one’s decision on life, relationships or marriage.
In her words: “I am a human being and I would be lying to say that it doesn’t sometimes.
“More so because it’s something I sincerely want to do but the feeling passes when I remember that society will not live with the person.
“I will live with the man, so it is very important that I do it because I want to, not because society wants it for me.”
Sexperts say women get to understand and appreciate their bodies with age, but Rita argued that sex at 40 is whatever you make of it.
A famous Japanese actress Saya Takagi has been handed a 1-year prison term and will remain suspended from acting for a period of three years.
The Hamamatsu native was arrested in Okinawa on 25 October, 2016, and charged with marijuana possession although she pleaded “not guilty.”
Takagi, 53, faced a disappointing legal battle which started barely three months after she lost an election for a seat into the Upper House last July. Her political ideology was inspired by a need to legalize pot for medical purposes.
However, she claims her arrest was a set-up, adding that the weed in her possession which is considered a contraband in Japan, was not hers to begin with.
Image: Saya Takagi
According to a report from The Japan Times, the ageing actress is a supporter for medical marijuana and “has promoted environmentally sustainable lifestyles.”
Takagi (real name Ikue Masudo) has retired from showbiz but her dramas are still shown on TV. Notable among her long list of popular films is the role she played as Kashiwagi Reiko in the Japanese drama “Okane ga Nai!” (1994).
The Asian beauty has seen her image tarnished since the marijuana scandal, and a large number of sponsors have deserted the TV icon.
A report from Nikkan Gendai confirmed that most DVDs containing films or shows featuring Takagi are being recalled right now in Japan.
At the height of Takagi’s persecution, a TV program in the country removed a theme song which was partly written by her.
The accused was sentenced to one year in prison, and given a three-year suspension from acting.
Her once enviable image nosedived from that of an angel to a witch since last Thursday’s court sentencing. In the eyes of most Japanese critics, Takagi is a woman of easy virtue because rumors have it that she was living with two men (lovers) who were also arrested.
Supporters say the negative news about their idol was aimed at staining the woman’s hard-earned reputation as a TV personality–for political and selfish reasons.
Prosecutors asked for a one-year prison sentence with suspension for the movie star who pleaded not guilty during her trial at the Naha District Court. Reports confirm she was caught with 55 grams of marijuana in her home.
Her indictment was supported by witness statements from Takagi’s housemates, including a 58-year-old man named Shigenari Moriyama.
According to the actress who runs a guesthouse on the island, Moriyama was the drug dealer. She admitted using it four to five times a month with his permission to ease pain after having a wisdom tooth removed, The Japan Times wrote. She has not been charged with marijuana use.
Call it fashion evolution if you like. It’s not uncommon for ladies to go without undies these days if that makes them uncomfortable, right? Just asking.
Orange Is The New Black star Emily Althaus chose a lovely outfit for the memorable night but it was neither her dress nor its color that attracted attention. It was her semi-nude appearance.
The actress perfectly played Maureen Kukudio in Orange Is The New Black, and we respect her ingenuity even if she doesn’t.
However, the famous actress could have done better than risking a wardrobe malfunction.
