Fashion Designs from Maison Margiela’s 2017 Spring Couture

Maison Margiela is a Belgian fashion designer and owner of the fashion house which goes by the same name.

He graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp, in 1979.

Margiela worked as a freelance designer for 5 years before before serving Jean Paul Gaultier between 1985 to 1987.

John Galliano was appointed as the creative director of Maison Martin Margiela in October, 2014.

He placed Margiela, who previously held the position.

Renzo Rosso, the president of OTB who acquired Maison Martin Margiela in 2002, said: “Margiela is ready for a new charismatic creative soul.

Margiela prefers a low profile life. His face was never made public throughout his amazing career.

The famous fashion designer has never given an interview; he remains backstage after his shows.
