Echoes of Eternity

In the quiet corners of existence,

Where shadows dance with fleeting light,

I find the whispers of eternity,

A cosmic sigh in the vast expanse.

Life, a fragile vessel on stormy seas,

We sail toward distant shores unknown,

Yet the waves mock our futile efforts,

And the stars remain indifferent witnesses.

We chase after meaning like elusive fireflies,

Our hands grasping at stardust dreams,

But the universe laughs—a cosmic jest—

As we build castles upon shifting sands.

Time, that relentless sculptor, carves our days,

Etching wrinkles into our skin, lines of memory,

And we ponder the grand tapestry of existence,

Only to realize it’s woven with threads of impermanence.

So, let’s dance upon the precipice of absurdity,

Laughing at the cosmic joke, our hearts defiant,

For in this fleeting moment, we find our purpose:

To love, to create, to embrace the beautiful futility.
