Cardi B and Offset set aside their ongoing hostilities to celebrate their children’s birthdays together over the weekend.
The former couple both posted Instagram Stories from a joint birthday party for their son Wave and daughter Blossom. Wave turned five on September 4, and Blossom turned two on Monday (September 7). The lavish party featured a Disney and Sonic the Hedgehog theme, with balloon arches, a ball pit, carnival games and snacks, and large trays of food.
Cardi shared video of their eldest daughter, Kulture (age eight), doing a runway walk and posing to the Katseye hit “Gnarly.” Offset posted a video of Wave dancing with candy floss in hand.
Cardi B and Offset married in September 2017 and shared a tumultuous relationship that the “Bodak Yellow” singer previously admitted was marked by “a lot of drama.” The two split and reconciled multiple times before she filed for divorce for the second time in 2024 amid cheating rumors. The split has since been contentious, with Cardi blasting Offset as an absent dad on X in June last year, claiming he had “seen Blossom only like five times.”
In September 2025, Offset told TMZ that he “just want all peace” for their family, stressing, “We got kids to take care of.” In March, Cardi shared that she felt “reborn” after their split, saying during an appearance on the “Aspire With Emma Grede” podcast: “I feel like last year a new person was reborn. I don’t know if it was the divorce. I don’t know if something woke me up. I feel like I’m definitely a new person.”
