Angelina Jolie reveals what she hates most about being Single

Angelina Jolie has painfully revealed her woes as a single mom saying, life isn’t always exactly what it seems on the outside.

The famous Hollywood actress separated from longtime friend and hubby Brad Pitt after his widely publicized addiction to alcohol, the alleged infidelity, and a disgraceful jet fight.

Although the custody battle for their six children is still pending in court, Jolie recently talked about her Bell’s palsy diagnosis which was discovered earlier in June.

It’s nearly a year since that divorce drama ensued but the Oscar-winner admits life has been hard without Pitt.

“I’ve been kinda shy in public because I’m no longer the strong woman I used to be in the past,” Jolie said in a Netflix interview for her new movie First They Killed My Father.

The couple reached an agreement to handle their divorce settlements privately but the 42-year-old says, “It’s been difficult. I don’t enjoy being single.”

According to The UK Telegraph, she showed optimism and courage in the psychological challenges saying, “It’s not something I wanted. There’s nothing nice about it. It’s just hard. Sometimes maybe it appears I am pulling it all together, but really I am just trying to get through my days.

“Emotionally, it’s been a very difficult year, and I have had some other health issues. So my health is something I have to monitor,” she said, referring to her preventive surgery for cancer (double mastectomy).

“I am so happy I don’t have cancer, and that if I do get it, it will be delayed for a few years. The exchange for that peace of mind is quite good.

“I think now I need to rediscover a little bit of the old me. I think we lose our way a bit. I have had a lot happen in my life, from certain people passing to health issues to raising the children. And it’s been a very good time to absorb and develop and grow.”

Brad Pitt and Jolie share three biological children and three other adopted ones. They tied the knots in 2014.
