The wintry weather has made for picturesque images in some areas, with these stags at Richmond Park, in London, seemingly unfazed by the cold.

Amber warning now in force
The Met Office’s amber warning for snow and ice is now in force.
Most of Wales is covered by the alert, as well as parts of the North West, the Midlands and the South West in England.
Meteorologists say snow and freezing rain (see our 9.40am post for more information on this) will likely lead to disruption to transport and some other services.
What should you expect?
- There is a good chance that power cuts may occur, the Met Office says, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage
- Travel delays on roads are likely, stranding some vehicles and passengers
- Some road closures and longer journey times are possible
- Some delays and cancellations to bus, rail and air travel are likely
- There is a good chance that some rural communities could become cut off
- Untreated pavements and cycle paths are likely to be impassable
The warning is currently in place until midday on Sunday.
Another amber warning for snow across the North comes into force at 9pm.
The Met Office uses a traffic light system for its warnings, with amber falling between yellow and red.
Amber warnings mean the weather is much more likely to disrupt your plans, potentially resulting in travel delays and cancellations, power cuts and risk to life and property.
