Besides the gift of concealing their war plans, great warriors also have the gift of thinking for their war opponents too. —- Basil Odilim
Yesterday something surprising happened. My seven year old son told me that he can precisely read my mind without my knowing it.
So, not saying what I was thinking I asked him to then tell me what’s it that I was thinking about. He immediately said it correctly.
I asked him “but how can a you 7 year old like him be able to precisely read my mind to the very point of knowing what I was thinking about?
His response was unbelievable too when he said “This was possible for me because having followed your thought processes, I can easily guess what you must be having in mind at any point in time given the situation.”
Is this not unbelievable?
Now let’s also hear from history’s ever lived military strategists and field war generals.
“Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.” — these are the rare gifts great warriors have in abundance.
The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting — Sun Tzu
I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion. — Alexander the Great
Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. — Napoleon Bonaparte
We do not place especial value on the possession of a virtue until we notice its total absence in our opponent. —- Friedrich Nietzsche
In war take nothing for granted. You can’t win if your enemy is best at reading your mind while concealing their own plans from you.
That’s why in every war room every question must be asked nothing should believed with thorough examinations.
So can naira redesigning be an APC concealed game against Obi and Atiku?
What if at the end of the day it happens that APC strategists were ahead of others by pretending to be fighting in public over naira redesigning, when behind the scenes the APC presidential candidate is the one benefitting from the entire staged plan by having secretly secured enough new naira notes for voting buying where opponents have been denied access to vote buying? Also as if not enough while the opponents were quiet the same APC presidential candidate has successfully told voters that if elected he’ll immediately do away with all the inherent problems the naira redesigning and the cashless policy of Buhari and Emefiele brought to the people of Nigeria?
So can the opposition parties be able to tell the world that APC won by engaging in unprecedented deceptive voting buying?
Let’s understand what “victorious warriors win first and then go to war” entails. Let’s come to imagine these possibilities since in war the unbelievable deceptions are possible moves to win warfare.
Before disagreeing let’s agree with Sun Tzu who in his The Art of War put it this way, “All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.”
