Role Overview: The staff physician will provide primary healthcare services to eligible Purdue students and their spouses, reflecting Purdue’s commitment to innovation, respect, and building a better world together. The physician will cover the Extended Care Area as assigned, which may include acute care services such as laceration repair, IV fluid administration, concussion evaluation, incision and drainage, etc. The physician will serve on Health Center Committees as designated by the Director or Medical Director and act as a consultant to Health Center Certified Nurse Practitioners and ancillary staff.

Required Education and Experience:

• MD or DO
• Completion of an accredited residency

Required Skills:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in primary care: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Adolescent Medicine, Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, or Gynecology
