Vladimir Putin will fly on a modernized Tu-160M supersonic strategic bomber today, Russian state TV reported the Kremlin as saying.
The giant swing-wing plane is a substantially modernised-version of a Soviet-era bomber.
The USSR would have deployed it in the event of a nuclear war with the West to deliver nuclear weapons over long distances.
