Hundreds of protesters are on the streets in the capital of Jordan, expressing solidarity with Palestine and showing support for Hamas.
Reporting from Amman, Sky News international affairs editor Dominic Waghorn says a summit planned today between Joe Biden and Arab leaders has been replaced by large-scale protests in the city.
As he reports live, the shouts of protesters echo loudly from the streets below…
The demonstrators, chanting “All of Jordan is with Hamas”, are expressing solidarity with the Palestinians, Waghorn says, and protesting against the bombing of the hospital in Gaza, which many in the Arab world blame on Israel.
The situation is unfolding in the Jordanian capital, Waghorn says, with the streets filled with a number of security vehicles, a water cannon vehicle, some armoured vehicles and a line of Jordanian police officers.
Some protesters torching property near the Israeli embassy clashed with police, injuring several anti-riot officers, Jordanian police said.

In total, 4,562 were taken to hospital after the attacks.
More than 1,400 people were killed when Hamas stormed into southern Israel, according to Israeli authorities.
