OMG! Celebrity goes naked at the 2017 SAG Awards

Last night was the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, and just as the acronym permitted, an “honorable” female guest at the event chose to appear braless.

Call it fashion evolution if you like. It’s not uncommon for ladies to go without undies these days if that makes them uncomfortable, right? Just asking.

Risking it: Orange Is The New Black star Emily Althaus went braless in an extreme plunging black lace gown at the SAG Awards at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday night

Orange Is The New Black star Emily Althaus chose a lovely outfit for the memorable night but it was neither her dress nor its color that attracted attention. It was her semi-nude appearance.

The actress perfectly played Maureen Kukudio in Orange Is The New Black, and we respect her ingenuity even if she doesn’t.

However, the famous actress could have done better than risking a wardrobe malfunction.

That plunging lacy black dress obviously had so much taken for granted. Super sexy! You’d bet she never had a reason to bend forward at the event. Paparazzi would have had a field day making headlines.

The gold necklace did add some bling to her fashion style but most people wouldn’t care to notice what expensive jewelry was dangling in-between her two worlds. As a fashionista, she also held a plush clutch bag as photographers battled to save the moment.

Golden girl: She drew further attention to her cleavage with a long necklace which added some more bling to her look

Hollywood should better get ready for the most-revealing fashion trends which may end getting tossed for birthday suits someday. We’ll all live to see that day.

Emily’s fashion wasn’t a total disgrace, though. The “Togetherness” actress and her team did have gongs to celebrate the night.

Speaking to Tell-Tale TV on her role in the award-winning movie, the OITNB star said: “I didn’t have much heads up as to what it was gonna be. I auditioned initially to play Pennsatucky’s mom in a flashback, actually.

“It was sort of told to me, ‘listen we’re not going to use you for this, but they like you and want to write a thing for you.’

“And at the time, I just had no idea what they meant, and I don’t think they even knew at that moment what it meant. We sort of started with a couple of lines in a couple of episodes.”

Gong alert: She joined a series of co-stars on stage to collect their gongs including Abigail Savage, James McMenamin, Alan Aisenberg, Kimiko Glenn, Samira Wiley and Julie Lake

The glamorous 29 January event was held at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Lily Tomlim was honored with the 2016 SAG Life Achievement Award as announced on August 4, 2016.

Denzel Washington, Emily Blunt and Emma Stone were among those actors who went home with gongs for their  amazing contributions in the movie industry.
