Summary

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a full-time Non-Resident Faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate Professor, or Professor in Healthcare Management. The successful candidate will join the School of Health Sciences and play a key role in advancing the University’s mission to deliver learner-centric, high-quality smart education.

The position involves teaching, research, content development, and academic mentorship, including:

• Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses via online learning platforms and smart technologies
• Designing, developing, and delivering e-content and course materials in Healthcare Management
• Advising, mentoring, and supervising learners’ academic study plans and research projects
• Supervising master’s theses and capstone projects
• Developing and conducting professional short courses, workshops, and training programs
• Publishing high-quality research in Scopus-indexed journals and submitting research grant applications
• Undertaking academic and administrative responsibilities as required

Requirements include:

• PhD in Healthcare Management or a closely related field from a top 200 university
• Demonstrated teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals of international standing
• Proven experience developing course content for online and smart learning environments
• Experience advising and mentoring learners and supervising master’s dissertations
• Ability to design and deliver professional short courses in both Arabic and English
• Sound administrative experience within academic settings
• Excellent proficiency in English
• Preference for candidates with online learning experience and international academic exposure
