The Duchess of Sussex has found a new way to unwind since returning to the UK, according to a recent report.

Meghan Markle, 45, has reportedly been attending reformer Pilates classes at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse in Great Tew, Oxfordshire.

Sources say the Duchess “absolutely loves” the sessions at the club’s Wellness Barn, using them both to relax and to make new friends. She is described as being “chatty and polite” during classes, while fellow members respectful “give her space.”

Meghan and Prince Harry are said to have been spotted at the luxurious retreat several times since moving back to Britain last month with their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five.

Reformer Pilates is a low-impact workout that uses a sliding frame with pulleys and springs. It has surged in popularity on social media and counts celebrities like Kendall Jenner and Margot Robbie among its fans. Membership at Soho Farmhouse, where Meghan reportedly held her hen do before her 2018 wedding, costs £4,500 a year.

A Lifelong Passion for Pilates and Yoga

The Duchess’s interest in Pilates is long-standing and was inspired by her mother, Doria Ragland, a former Pilates instructor. In a 2016 interview, Meghan shared that she began practising yoga at age seven with her mother, who encouraged her to persevere. She later took up Pilates more regularly during college.

During her previous time living in the UK, Meghan was known to attend classes at Heartcore in London. It was even reported that she had a yoga studio built at Frogmore Cottage before returning to the US. She is also said to have met one of her closest friends, Heather Dorak, at a Pilates studio.

Speaking about Megaformer Pilates in the past, Meghan said it was “hands down the best thing you could do for your body,” adding that “your body changes immediately” after just two classes.

Settling into Cotswolds Life

Since their return to the UK in August, Meghan and Harry have reportedly settled in the Cotswolds, living in a non-royal residence outside London. They have been spotted at several local spots, including The Falkland Arms in Great Tew, where they enjoyed a fish and chip lunch with a visiting friend.

Meghan was also photographed at the Three Horseshoes Pub while catching up with her new neighbour, former US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, and DeGeneres’s wife, Portia de Rossi. According to reports, the Duchess visited Soho Farmhouse within hours of arriving at Birmingham Airport, where she was seen having an early morning coffee and being introduced to senior staff.
