Meet The World’s Fittest Grandma At 80.

If you ever feel the need to hit the gym but got no motivation, don’t look too far any more because the world’s fittest grandma Ernestine Shepherd, 80, is right here to inspire you. She’s in better shape than most people, decades her junior.

Ernestine Shepherd is the world’s oldest female body builder confirmed by Guinness Book of World Records in 2010, 2011 and 2016 because she’s still active but no longer a competitive body builder.

In 2012 Edith Connor was declared the new oldest competitive female bodybuilder at age 77.

Now you have no reason to think you’re over-aged to desire good health–because Ernestine Shepherd says so.

The octogenarian Baltimorean was born on June 16th, 1936. She didn’t start exercising until she was 56 years old but since then she’s gone on to win two bodybuilding titles. Quite an inspiration, isn’t she?

So what’s her secret? She wakes up at 3 a.m. every morning, spends her day running, lifting weights and working out. She also works as a certified trainer at a gym.

She reveals she’s inspired by Sylvester Stallone and she’s a die-hard “Rocky” fan.
She has loads of respect for Michelle Obama. In her words: “Sylvester Stallone is my man, and I would love to meet him one day.”

Ernestine is, however, looking for an excuse to meet the U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama so she could render assistance with her work on controlling obesity. Hope she does someday, because she thinks Michelle is “so beautiful, inside and out”.

She lives off a calorie-controlled diet of boiled egg whites, chicken, vegetables, and plenty of water.

One thing that sets Ernestine Shepherd apart from a million grandmas is, she never gives up. Don’t forget this.
