Pretty Mike has come to take Nigeria and the world by storm. He’s already making waves on social media – if you don’t know – by putting beautiful girls in chains and parading them as servants wherever he goes.
Mike, whose real names are Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, has been accused of dehumanizing women and disrespecting womanhood in general.
A warrant for his arrest was sanction by the Lagos state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, on 12 January.
Mike, 30, was arrested for putting chains on his subjects – like slaves of centuries ago, turning them into kitties with no self-worth.
How on earth can one preserve history by making mockery of those moral values cherished by our forefathers?
He was arrested on the orders of the Lagos state governor after pictures of his dehumanizing acts surfaced on social media.
Local reports say Mike is cooperating with cops on investigations into the alleged violation of women’s rights.
The accused has given useful statement to the police and was released after signing an undertaking to withdraw from such inhuman acts.
Part of the signed undertaking with police reads: “I, Mike Eze Nwalie, A.K.A Pretty Mike of 21A Magodo GRA, Luma Street, do hereby undertake to stop whatever act of putting girls on a leash or any other degrading treatment to ladies and guys.
“I am aware that such act offends the law of the State of Lagos and if I repeat it again, there will be legal act towards me.
“I undertake to issue a letter of apology to the public effective from tomorrow on all my social media platforms.”
The State’s Attorney General & Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Adeniji Kazeem said the government will not tolerate any anti-social behavior.
Any attempt by individuals or groups aimed at dehumanizing fellow citizens will be prosecuted, Kazeem warned.
“The state government insist that no one has the right to violate any its laws under any guise,” the AG added. “The Lagos State Government is committed to the protection of the rights of all citizens including children, women and all the vulnerable persons in the State.”
Pretty Mike studied Chemical Engineering, and spent most of his years in Houston, Texas – USA. He’s a co-owner of Club Uno [formerly known as Q Club] in Lagos.
Mike loves crazy parties and women. He never goes anywhere without an umbrella, reports confirm.
