Dani Alves is more likely to remain at Barcelona until after World Cup 2018 as one of Luis Enrique’s favorites. The Brazilian player is said to be the world’s best left back at the moment, according to his coach.
Luis Enrique believes Alves is an irreplaceable part of the Barca team as the coach warns that retaining the player is ‘non-negotiable.’
Alves hopes he can keep going at a high level for at least another two years with the 2018 World Cup in sight. If he remains fit and is lucky to be in Brazil’s squad for the world tournament, that will likely be his last chance to lift the trophy with the team.
The right back renewed his 2-year-contract with Barcelona last year with an option of a third.

Dani Alves, 33, almost quit the club last year but was convinced to stay by reactions from fans as Barcelona celebrated the League, Cup and Champions League treble.
Luckily for the star, he now has more trophies to compensate his decision.
