The rising star just had a year most artists only dream of—Oscar win, global fame, and now a major label deal. And she’s already teasing what comes next.

If you’ve been anywhere near the internet over the past year, you’ve probably heard Golden—the earworm that soundtracked Netflix’s animated phenomenon KPop Demon Hunters. And if you haven’t? Honestly, where have you been?

The voice behind that Oscar-winning track, Audrey Nuna, just made a power move that’s about to take her career to the next level. The rising star has officially signed with Republic Records, and she’s wasting absolutely no time making her mark.

New Label, New Single, New Era

Nuna is kicking off her Republic Records era with a brand-new single called “superHuman” —and it’s dropping this Friday (August 7) . The track was produced by Cirkut, a Grammy-winning producer who’s worked with everyone from The Weeknd to Katy Perry. So yeah, expectations are high.

The song came together during what Nuna describes as a period of “rapid change”—which makes sense, given that her life has basically been turned upside down since KPop Demon Hunters took over the world. Speaking to Variety, she opened up about what the track means to her:

“I wanted to capture that feeling – of redemption, of validation, of the tides finally turning. And in the same breath, I wanted to quietly remind myself and others to stay human… being more human will always be a superpower if we allow it.”

She also called the Republic deal “the right home” for what she wants to build next, adding: “I’m honoured to work with a partner that believes in investing in the future of music and culture.”

From Oscar Winner to Gaming Icon

As if the label deal and new single weren’t enough, Nuna is also leveling up in the gaming world. “superHuman” has been tapped as an official song for the 2026 Valorant Champions Tour—marking her second collaboration with Riot Games after January’s Toxic.

So if you’re a gamer and a KPop fan? This is basically your week.

KPop Demon Hunters Is Going on Tour

And if you thought the KPop Demon Hunters hype was dying down, think again. Netflix announced during its Upfront 2026 event in New York that the film is hitting the road next year with a massive global concert tour in partnership with AEG Presents.

Netflix’s President of Advertising, Amy Reinhard, put it best:

“Obviously, nothing has captured the world’s attention quite like KPop Demon Hunters. There were sing-a-longs, Halloween costumes, shoutouts at the U.S. Open and Buckingham Palace. There was even a 25 per cent spike in flights booked to Korea.”

The film remains Netflix’s most-watched movie ever, and the live tour is set to bring “elements of the two-time Oscar-winning film to life in spectacular ways.” Fans can already sign up for a waitlist at kpopdemonhunterslive.com to be the first to know which cities the tour will hit in 2027.

What’s Next for Audrey Nuna?

With a major label deal, a new single produced by a Grammy winner, a gaming partnership, and a global tour on the horizon, it’s safe to say Audrey Nuna is having a moment.

And honestly? She’s earned it.
