A group monitoring the Syrian war has confirmed that ISIL has dispatched tens of its terrorists to the town of Dabeq. The location is said to be of strategic importance to the terrorist group.
“A sum of 300 forces with full military equipment and vehicles have arrived in the Northern part of Aleppo,” the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
As a strategic move to reduce casualties, the ISIL religious leaders convinced Abu Ayub al-Ansari Battalion to leave its positions in Northern Raqqa where they were fighting with Syrian Democratic Forces and to deploy in Dabeq.
The Syrian military recorded great success against the enemy fighters earlier on Saturday.
The soldiers disorganized ISIL’s planned offensives on government positions in the Eastern battlefields of Aleppo province and historically claimed the lives of at least 30 terrorists. Many more were injured in the onslaught.
According to an online report: “The Syrian defenders, including four combat choppers and artillery and missile units, targeted the ISIL attacker, which ended in the killing of at least 30 militants and destructed of five armored vehicles of the terrorist group in Rasm al-Alam near Tak Maksour.”
During the attack, ISIL terrorists were overpowered and out-maneuvered with the heavy shelling from the Syrian. They subsequently chickened out and fled the battlefield.
The report continued: “Also on Friday, the Russian air fleet struck the gathering centers of the ISIL and al-Nusra Front in the Northern, Southern and Western parts of Aleppo province, pinning down the militants behind their positions.
“The Russian Air Force bombed the ISIL positions near the towns of al-Bab, Deir Hafer, Rasm al-Alam, and Menbeij, which ended in the killing and wounding of several terrorists.
“The Russian jets also targeted al-Nusra’s positions in Tal al-Eis in South, Al-Mansoureh in Western countryside, and Anadan in the Northern parts of the province, which claimed the lives of tens of the militants.”
