The British singer who was discovered by the legend in 2012 paid tributes to him and recently opened up on how she feels about Prince’s passing.
Reports say the music legend was reportedly so impressed by Delilah’s singing in a Youtube video so he invited the 22-year-old to support him on tour in Australia.
Delilah, 25, expressed her feelings on Instagram exactly nine days after the 57-year-old musician was found dead at his Paisley Park mansion. In the post, she included a screenshot of a tweet from Prince with an emotional message that read:
“@delilahmusic Just when you’re about to give up is usually when the magic is about to happen.
“COME C US ON THE 21ST,” he added.
While Delilah wrote: “There is still so much I want to say but every word makes my heart hurt.
“I am trying to remember what he taught me, to be brave and keep that magic alive.”
Seems Delilah is really hurting so bad having lost a meaningful person in her life forever. Just three days ago she posted a poem about her rumored boyfriend, late Prince:
“There was a boy, a very strange boy, enchanted boy, they see he wandered very far, very far over land and sea.
“A little shy and sad of eye, but very wise was he. And then one day, one magic day he passed my way.
“While we spoke of many things Fools and Kings, this he said to me: ‘The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.”
