• US rescues missing pilot: Military officials have confirmed they have found a USairman who had been unaccounted for since Iran shot down their F-15 fighter jet on Friday. The other crew member was previously recovered alive.
• ‘WE GOT HIM!’: Donald Trump said that the US military had “pulled off one of the most daring search and rescue operations in history” – and the pilot is now “safe and sound” – later telling NBC News that it was an “Easter Miracle”. 
• Iran shares ‘crash site’ footage: Iran’s military released footage appearing to show smouldering aircraft wreckage in central Iran, claiming without evidence it shot down two US transport aircraft and two Blackhawk helicopters that were part of the rescue operation.

• Trump’s expletive threat: Trump has issued an expletive-laden threat against Iran’s infrastructure if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened. He later told Fox News there’s a “good chance” of a deal being reached tomorrow.
• Iran and Oman discuss Strait: The two countries have been meeting today at the deputy foreign minister level with the aim of smoothing the flow of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
