Full list of winner at the 2017 National TV Awards

Faye Brooks and Sarah Lancashire will undoubtedly agree that the 2017 National Television Awards was a night to remember.

Both talents shone brighter than the stars as they grabbed the event’s top awards for “Best Newcomer” and “Best Drama Performance” respectively.

Brooks, popularly known for her roles in “Coronation Street (1960),” “The Zoo,” and “Atlantis,” won the Best Newcomer award. She featured as Kate Connor in the blockbuster series.

“I really did not expect to get this, I know that’s a cliche,” the actress said in her acceptance speech.

“I have to thank the fans, and everybody who voted, I just wouldn’t be here without you guys, and to everybody in my brand new family, Coronation Street.”

She continued: “I can’t believe I’m stood here. I was a little girl watching Coronation Street and I can’t believe I’m now in it. I’m so so grateful.”
