A Florida mother accused of having a sexual relationship with her adult son allegedly used sex toys during the encounters, while cameras in the family home reportedly recorded some of their interactions, according to an arrest report obtained by TMZ.

Christina Clemens and her 22-year-old son, Shane Clemens, were arrested in August after deputies were called to their Lakeland, Florida, home during a reported domestic violence incident.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Christina initially reported that Shane had struck her. Shane was subsequently arrested, but investigators said he then told authorities that he and his mother had been engaged in a sexual relationship since he was 18.

When deputies questioned Christina about her son’s allegation, authorities said she acknowledged that the relationship had occurred.

Sheriff Grady Judd said Christina told investigators that she and Shane had intercourse approximately 100 times.

The case later generated additional details after investigators reviewed information contained in the arrest report.

Alleged Use of Sex Toys and Cameras

According to the report cited by TMZ, Shane told investigators that he was tired of having sexual encounters with his mother in different areas of their home.

Christina allegedly told police that the encounters had occurred around 100 times. The report states that some of the encounters involved a purple strap-on sex toy.

Investigators also reportedly discovered that cameras in the living room and bedroom had recorded interactions between the mother and son. According to the report, the alleged relationship had begun approximately four years earlier.

The allegations concern conduct that authorities say occurred after Shane turned 18.

Christina’s Husband Said He Was Unaware

Investigators also questioned Christina’s husband about the alleged relationship between his wife and her son.

According to authorities, the husband said he and Christina were “happily married” and told investigators that he was unaware of the relationship.

He reportedly acknowledged, however, that he had become suspicious after observing Christina and Shane entering the master bedroom together and locking the door.

Authorities also said the alleged relationship was discussed during a monitored telephone conversation between Christina and Shane while he was in jail.

According to the arrest report, Christina allegedly asked Shane whether he wanted to “stop doing what we do,” before telling him, “But you need to tell Terry that you’re a liar and you only said that because you were mad.”

Investigators interpreted the conversation as suggesting that Shane had told his father, Terry, about the alleged relationship.

Alleged Attempt to Delete Evidence

The report also states that Christina allegedly told Shane that after she picked him up from jail, he would need to give her his phone so she could delete evidence.

The conversation was reportedly monitored by sheriff’s deputies while Shane remained in custody.

The allegations form part of the evidence being cited by investigators in the case.

Charges Against the Mother and Son

Christina, 46, was charged with incest and living in open adultery, according to inmate records reviewed by PEOPLE. She was being held on a $5,250 bond.

Shane was charged with incest and domestic violence battery and was being held without bond, according to the same records. He was booked on Aug. 21, while Christina was booked on Aug. 27.

Sheriff Grady Judd publicly discussed the case in a video posted by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation followed the reported domestic violence incident that initially brought deputies to the family’s home. According to authorities, the subsequent statements made by Shane and Christina led investigators to examine the alleged relationship.

The charges are allegations, and the defendants are entitled to due process as the case proceeds.
