A female teacher who adopted a pupil for sexual satisfaction is currently facing trials for the alleged crime.
The victim, an underage male, feared she would disown him for “unruly” behaviors, so he wholeheartedly obliged.
He told prosecutors during trials in Burlington, New Jersey, US, that proofs of their stimulating social media chats can corroborate his claims.
Rayna Culver, 43, has pleaded not guilty to all charges, saying they are total fabrications.
She’s facing charges of sexual assault and endangering a child’s welfare.
Culver previously worked at Rivera Middle School. She got married in 2003.
According to court documents, the female teacher’s purpose of adopting her “son” was to sexually exploit him as often as desired.
Culver’s lawyer claims the lies against her were cooked up to tarnish her image. However, the recorded files say her sexual assault victim wrote several letters, begging his adopter to end their sexual relationship, but all pleas from the boy fell on deaf ears.
The teacher got legal backing to stand in as the pupil’s guardian after he was thrown out from a relative’s home.
Although he was only 15 at that time, the court documents claim Culver started making sexual advances when they first met in school. He never bothered about the implications.
She allegedly touched him sometime in July, 2016, when he was feeling drowsy, and went further to undress him. The teacher then performed oral sex on him before he was ravished.
Sex between them soon became an everyday occurrence.
“After that first incident, they would engage in sex often,” the court document reveals.
“It was to the point where he felt that if he told her to stop she would get mad and kick him out of the house.
“(The victim) told Culver via text message that he didn’t want to have sex anymore, and she made it clear that she did not want it to stop.
“Throughout the course of the conversations, Culver and (the victim) get into in-depth conversations regarding sex, having sex and sexual acts,” the court files added.
The pupil tendered his mobile phone as evidence to the police.
Culver’s lawyer said in a statement that she [Culver] looks forward to these charges being dismissed.
“The state’s theory of the case is a completely fabricated recitation made up by a troubled, young man,” he lawyer added.
Forensic experts have recovered a phone owned by another lady who offered it to the predator in order to cover the abuse.
Two mobile phones were seized and “potential bio fluid” was recovered as physical evidence.
