Cardi B is a certified style icon, no doubts about that, but her outfit picks for her kids could use some help — according to her husband Offset, at least.
Earlier this week, the wedded rappers took a trip to Target, where the 29-year-old “WAP” hitmaker fell in love with a potential accessory for their 3-month-old son.
In a video shared on her Instagram Stories, Cardi presents her husband, 30, with a pint-sized gray tweed fedora, only to have him instantly shut down the idea.
“Oh hell nah,” the Migos rapper said. “I’m not putting that s—t on my son, man … Got my boy looking like Ne-Yo!”
Undeterred by Offset’s reference to the famously hat-obsessed R&B star, Cardi trekked on. “Ain’t this cute?” she asked next, holding up a full outfit with bright red pants, printed suspenders and a blue button-down.
This time, her spouse likened the preppy look to something “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’s” Carlton Banks would wear. “Hell the f—k no,” he declared.

Cardi welcomed her baby boy in early September — and if he’s anything like his older sister Kulture, 3, he’ll soon be graduating from Target duds to dazzling diamonds.
In addition to ample bling, the couple’s eldest also owns luxury bags from the likes of Hermès, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana and Dior, and has even posed in matching designer outfits with her famous mom.
