Just when critics thought, “Aargh…Drake can’t write his own songs…music isn’t in his blood…” and more of that negative stuff against the rapper, his father Dennis Graham is proving haters wrong by dropping a music video.

The song is titled “Kinda Crazy”, and it is what it is. He’s giving music a new meaning. Good news for the family, as Drake shares spotlight with dad.
Dennis Graham is dishing out the collabo with Jamie Iovine [son of Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine], to launch a music career. The duo publicized their collaboration on social media after TMZ first reported the news.
According to the report, Drake granted consent to his father’s album making it possible for Graham to contact Jamie Iovine [producer and son of music executive Jimmy Iovine], about securing a release through Apple Music.
Fortunately for Graham, the talks ended favorably.
“My Brother right here believed in me @jamieiovine and it’s Kinda Crazy,” Graham wrote on Instagram, “thank you Jamie[@]applemusic.”
“Guys this is insane,” Iovine chimed in. “Me and @therealdennisg announced this morning we are working on his upcoming RnB album and the reactions have been insane! This blew up and it’s not even dark out yet! I can’t wait to show y’all what he’s got.”
The song Kinda Crazy originally debuted in March 2015 featuring vocals from singer Tanya Lee.
Lyrics of the song include: “It’s kinda crazy but I feel you underneath my skin/… It’s where my obsession began.”
Reports confirm Drake’s father had wanted his superstar son to play a part in his video but the rapper was occupied with schedules.
Though the name Dennis Graham sounds unfamiliar to many, the man has been in the industry for years. The man made a cameo in Drake’s music video for a 2013 single titled “Worst Behavior”. He regularly travels with the Canadian rapper and is currently accompanying Drizzy on his Summer Sixteen tour.

The father and son are said to share a close relationship not minding the fact that Graham left their family home when Drake was a child.
Talking about the unbreakable bond between him and his father, Drake told GQ in 2012: “Me and my dad are friends. We’re cool. I’ll never be disappointed again, because I don’t expect anything anymore from him. I just let him exist, and that’s how we get along. We laugh. We have drinks together. But I spent too many nights looking by the window, seeing if the car was going to pull up. And the car never came.”
Most people don’t know this about Drake and his music talent. It actually came from Graham’s family tree. International Business Times wrote: “Dennis’ brother Larry Graham is an accomplished bassist and one of the founding members of Sly and the Family Stone”.
Music truly runs in their blood. Drake should be proud of him.
