Dionne Warwick Pulls Out of Carnegie Hall Charity Gig Due to Severe Leg and Foot Pain

Dionne Warwick has been forced to cancel a scheduled performance after revealing she is currently unable to stand or walk.

The legendary singer, 85, was set to appear at New York City’s Carnegie Hall on Sunday for the Deborah Silver & Fabulous Friends: Voices for ALS charity benefit. However, the music icon made the difficult decision to withdraw from the event due to ongoing health issues.

In a statement obtained by Page Six, Warwick expressed her regret: “I’m sorry to have had to cancel the chance to see you all at Carnegie. My leg and foot would not allow me to stand nor walk at the moment.”

The “I Say a Little Prayer” hitmaker went on to describe the significant pain she is experiencing, explaining that it left her with no choice but to step back from her work commitments. “Due to the pain, I just couldn’t do anything other than cancel my appearance this time, as I focus on rest and recovering from it,” she added.

Acknowledging that the cancellation would disappoint her loyal fans, the Grammy Award-winner asked for their continued grace and understanding. “Only the pain and inability to stand or walk is the reason for my absence,” Warwick noted.
