Dani Alves – Paulo Dybala should leave Juventus now

Dani Alves has advised his Juventus teammate Paulo Dybala to leave his comfort zone in order to experience an all-round development as a footballer.

Alves, a former Barcelona player who plays as a right-back for Juve, says the youngster should consider an exit in order to save his blossoming career.

“He [Dybala] is a player who is going to bear real fruit in the future, he is a fantastic talent,” said Alves, who is known for making controversial comments on sensitive issues but never worrying about what the media and club think of him.

In his chat with Esporte Interativo, the Brazilian full-back added, “But I do think that for him to improve on everything and to prove himself, he must one day leave Juventus, although I don’t know when.”

The 34-year-old was asked if he has plans of leaving Turin anytime soon, as speculated in the media, but he responded with a “nay, not now.”

“Who knows? We’ll see,” said Alves.

“Last year I turned down many offers from the Premier League because I felt I had to go to Serie A,” he added.

“There is a great defensive culture, and to go and play in England you have to know how to defend well. I hope that one day I will go there.”

Dybala is being courted as the next superstar to replace Barcelona’s legendary footballer Lionel Messi.

Alves spent 6 years at Sevilla on his way to the top. The Brazilian has so far added 2 UEFA Cups, a FIFA Club World Cup, 2 Champions League trophies and a Copa del Rey to his amazing football career.
