Brangelina: Was Their Divorce Justified By An Alleged Jet Brawl?

“Where there’s a will, there’s a way,” they always say. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made headlines around the world after announcing their decision to go separate ways, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason.

Brangelina got married on August 14, 2015 and publicly announced their divorce date as September 15, 2016.

The “Troy” actor has been accused of engaging his 15-year-old son in a fight while the family was on an international flight from France, an accusation TMZ calls “murky”. There are so many versions of their divorce story that makes it look like child’s play, especially the jet brawl.

Rumors have it in the media that Pitt is everything wrong in their broken marriage–“child abuse”, drugs, extramarital affairs and uncontrollable temper. And Angelina is the beautiful angel. Just maybe.

Reports say the celebrity husband and wife were arguing on the plane before their protective son Maddox jumped up to defend his mom. The disrespectful challenge irked Brad, who lost control of his temper in a drunken state, and attempted striking the young man but his mom was very quick to intervene.

The L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services met the family after they landed at Burbank for interrogations. Authorities are currently investigating the child abuse allegation which the actor has since denied.

Among details to be verified are: whether the actor intentionally or mistakenly hit the young boy; and if the accused was drunk at the time of the incident.

Angie, 41, is claiming that Brad, 52, was sober when he hit the boy but later got drunk before they landed the plane. Meanwhile, a source close to Brad told TMZ that he was drunk during the jet fight.

According a Pitt source: “He got drunk and was fighting with Angie. Maddox stepped in to defend Angie and got in Brad’s face,” US Weekly reported.

Another Pitt source also argued that “teenagers have fights with their parents, especially when you have teens who are strong-willed and confident. You’re going to have back and forth,” adding that “the abuse suggestions are inaccurate.

A source told The Mirror“He [Brad] is a very caring and attentive father and it’s sad that people are continuing these smears, which only hurt the children and the entire family.

“These claims are exaggerated and fabricated.

“It’s unfortunate for the whole family that people are insisting on continuing this endless smear campaign against Brad that hurts everyone.

“They are a solid family with two caring parents and a normal share of disagreements. Hopefully people can move on and leave them all alone to work this out.”

While the actress wants full custody rights on the kids, a source close to Angie confirmed their divorce isn’t about alcohol, adding that Angie would never ask for a legal separation if it was about Pitt’s drinking problems.

Angelina says it’s all about protecting their children.

Reports say Brad has never attacked his kids before, except verbally. If this is a verified fact as it is, why would Angelina decide to make a mountain out of a molehill?

Common sense says she’s fed up with the man for “other reasons” but was looking for a way to take the kids along. That’s it.

Knowing he was on booze, Angie and Maddox may have intentionally planned to provoke him to the point where he would need to strike the boy, so they could use it against him in a law court.

Hell hath no fury like a scorned woman, Pitt should have known. It’s a case for the court, anyway.

As the legal battle is right now, both have agreed that Jolie would have the kids while the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services continues with investigations on the jet brawl.

The couple have six children together namely: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8 years old.
