3D Garments Made by a Student

A modelling exhibition event tagged T-stage show was organised by students from Wuhan Textile University on April 11, 2016.

The students showcased 3D printed garments as their graduation projects and it attracted a lot of attention around China. The lead designer Tang Xiao revealed that his source of inspiration was the Siren, a Greek mythology character.

His goal was to use the 3D printed clothes as a skeletal structure of Siren.

The designer spent 50,000 yuan (about $8,500) and four months to make the costumes.
