A man from Seattle found a surprise in his recycling bin as he pulled it open on Saturday.
He wasn’t expecting to see anything except wastes but like a nightmare, he found something shocking – three body parts including a foot.
The homeowner quickly called in 911 to report his find and the police confirmed the body parts as “fresh”. They were all well packaged in three separate boxes but it is yet unknown why the remains were dumped in the man’s bin and what connection he might have with the butchers.
Police investigation confirms the body parts got dumped in the bin around Friday or Saturday. It is also speculated that killing was done outside the neighborhood in Seattle.
A neighbor Gunnar Lee-Peterson is still in shock about the horrific sight which has raised panic around the area. Gunner spoke with KIRO-TV:
“I cannot fathom what would have gone on. I walk this route everyday. It’s not really a tight-knit community, but nobody, as far as I know, is chopping up bodies.”
The body parts has been taken in for autopsy by the King County Medical Examiner’s office.
Authorities are relying on science to determine the sex, identity and cause of death.
