Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has told reporters that he would like his star player Cristiano Ronaldo to play for 90 minutes against Sporting CP.

Ronaldo played for an hour against Osasuna at the weekend, scoring in the club’s 5-2 win. It was also his first match since returning on the pitch, after sustaining a serious knee injury in the Euro 2016 final against France in July.
“He is ready to play and we want him to be involved as much as possible,” said Zidane in his pre-match press conference.
“The idea is to play him for 90 minutes, we have no concerns but we are also adaptable.
“It will be a special match for Ronaldo (against his former club), that is natural.”
