Yungblud, who covered Black Sabbath’s track Changes at their final gig earlier this month, is the latest star to share a moving tribute.
The singer-songwriter met with Osbourne backstage at the Birmingham concert and has posted two photos from the night on Instagram.
The caption reads: “I didn’t think you would leave so soon the last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room.
“But as it is written with legends, they seem to know the things that we don’t.”
The pair’s friendship goes back years and while they were filming a music video together in 2022, Osbourne gifted the Doncaster-born singer a gold cross.
Yungblud’s tribute continues: “Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own.”
Yungblud’s Changes cover was released after the gig, to raise funds for Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice.
