A vigil has been held in an area of Russian-occupied Ukraine for the victims of the concert hall attack near Moscow.
People gathered with candles to pay tribute in the eastern Ukrainian region of Donetsk – more than half of which is under Russian control.
Lit candles formed the message: “DPR [Donetsk People’s Republic]. We mourn. 22.03.24.”
The Russian-backed self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic is not internationally recognised.
