Donald Trump will be “scared to death” to face Kamala Harris in the US elections, says former Republican presidential candidate Joe Walsh.
Ms Harris is the early frontrunner to succeed Joe Biden as the Democrat nominee for November’s poll following the president’s decision to step down today.
And Mr Walsh, who ran as a candidate for the Republicans in the 2020 election, says Mr Trump’s “trouble with strong women” could prove a big challenge.
“I think he’s scared to death for a couple of reasons,” said Mr Walsh.
“Trump is a bully. He’s a coward. But he’s always had trouble with strong women. He always struggled with Nancy Pelosi. I think that scares him.
“Look, the whole campaign he has been banking on running against Joe Biden. They built their entire campaign to run against 81-year-old Joe Biden. They tried to keep Biden in the race.
“Kamala Harris is a wild card. So I think they’re going to struggle immensely to run against her.”
